1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Restomod
ZL1 pro touring resto-mod powered by a GM 50th Anniversary Edition RPO 427ci V8 engine featuring a MK IV engine block produced from surviving 1969 GM tooling. The engine has 4.25 bore, 3.76 stroke, GM Performance roller camshaft and a Holley 870 cfm 4-barrel carburetor. The engine is paired with a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission and a Kugel 9-inch IRS differential. It also has headers with custom 2.5-inch stainless side-exit exhaust and a Borla center muffler, Anvil carbon-fiber inner fender aprons, supports and radiator core cover. The chassis features an Art Morrison GT Sport C6 Corvette IPS independent front suspension, chassis and rear sub-frame, Kugel Komponents fully independent rear suspension, power rack & pinion steering with a 20:1 ratio, adjustable coilover front and rear shocks with a quad rear, front and rear stabilizer bars, Wilwood master cylinder and four-wheel disc brakes featuring Wilwood four-piston front calipers and Kugel inboard rear.
The exterior is finished in black Axalta Chroma base coat/clear coat paint, and includes RS headlamps, Anvil cowl-induction hood and carbon-fiber front spoiler, front driving lamps, power convertible top, Kindig-It flush door handles, smoothed and shaved body trim, ZL1 hood trim, one-off side air vents, side-exit exhaust, rear deck lid with spoiler and sequential rear taillamps. The custom interior has black leather bucket seats, trim and door panels with suede inserts and red stitching, full-length center console, leather-wrapped dash, one-off Dakota Digital gauges, tilt column, Budnik steering wheel, power windows. Vintage Air and heat with temperature control, square-weave carpet, and a matching trunk compartment. This Camaro rides on 18-inch Budnik wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Performance radial tires.
