1932 Ford Sedan Deluxe
Ford introduced the replacement for the Model A in 1932. The new model was designated the Model B and the Model 18. The Model B was the direct replacement for the Model A with only a four cylinder engine available. The Model 18 was the new range topper, with standard V-8 Flathead power. This was the sales booster Ford was looking for, and with the wide range of bodies available, there was a V-8 Ford for every job. This 1932 Ford is the range topping Sedan Deluxe, and has some added options that give it a truly unique appeal. The paint is superb. Fit and finish are excellent, and all doors close with precision fit. Custom pin stripping has been added that gives this classic Ford a classy appeal, and the custom painted wire wheels and modern radial tires add to the eye catching flare. Under the hood is a later model Ford 239 Flathead V-8 with the larger clutch from the truck series. This engine runs so quiet and smooth that you almost cannot even tell it is running. The engine is backed by a three speed manual transmission with good feel and smooth shifts. The chassis feel is tight and combined with the manual brakes and manual steering create a driving experience that will transport you back to the days when life was just a little slower and rewarding. The interior features broadcloth covered benches with beautiful wood and chrome trim. The back seat is almost limousine like in leg room and space. This deluxe model comes with gorgeous instrumentation, inside rear view mirror beautifully cut, and even a little roll down sunshade in the back window. This amazing machine has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration, and is just as gorgeous underneath as it is on top. It is truly astonishing, and draws a crowd everywhere. You don't see these classics, especially four door sedans, in this kind of condition and unmodified. If you're looking for an enjoyable and rewarding classic car to drive and enjoy, this is the ONE!
