1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

This first generation Thunderbird speaks for itself. Colonial White with a Peacock Blue Removable Hardtop makes for a stunning sight. Ford designed this two-seat convertible for comfort not speed. In '56 minimal changes were made to the car such as; more trunk space, the spare wheel was mounted on the exterior of the car, air vents were added behind the front wheels, 'porthole' windows in the removable fiberglass top, the exhaust was also moved to the ends of the bumper. This Thunderbird did come with the 312 V8 motor and an automatic transmission. Other options include an upgraded am/fm/cassette player and drum brakes. It has been garage kept and is believed to be numbers matching as well as accident free!
With only 15,631 units produced in 1956 it was the lowest production year of the first generation! If you would like to own a piece of classic car history this would be a great piece for you! Cruise around in this two-seat convertible with the top off and let the wind blow through your hair!
