Unique Find! Pontiac Chieftains were produced from 1949 to 1958. This second generation Pontiac was built in Pontiac, Michigan. In 1955 Pontiac did a complete make-over on the car, so in 1956 there were only minor updates. The biggest change was the upgrade in size to the engine. Our Chieftain is not all original. Vintage Air has been added, an upgraded AM/FM/CD player (Kenwood), also all new interior (seat covers, carpet, door panels, and headliner). Other options include: Power Front Disc Brakes, Power steering, Tilt steering, American Racing wheels, Radial 225/60R15 tires, and a Turbo 400 3 speed Automatic transmission.
